All of our instructors hold full National Governing Body Awards, and have at least three years post qualification experience. All are very experienced and worldly instructors, many have worked with us on our School Trips In Europe. When they are not working with us on school activity residentials, they are on the rivers, gorges and rock faces of Wales. Outdoor education is our way of live, our dream and soul. “You have to live the dream to share it!!!”

Sit On Top Kayaking
-
Sit on top kayaking is an accessible, fun way to explore our rivers and sheltered bays of North Wales and of course South Wales. Our instructors have a wealth of experience and are able to guide your pupils to some of the most spectacular scenery in Wales. We have found that pupils find the sit on top kayaks less intimidating that the tradition Sit In kayaks where some pupils feel trapped and enclosed. Sit on tops give you all the fun and excitement but with a much greater sense of freedom and safety.
-
Rock Climbing & Abseiling
-
Wales offers some of the finest rock climbing areas in the UK, the sea cliffs around Pembrokeshire in particular are famous in the climbing world. Climbing and Abseiling is a very popular activity on school trips, in fact it is one of the most popular outings we lead. Many of our climbing instructors have lead expeditions and climbed all over the world including the Alps and the White Mountains of Crete. Great fun activity that gives you a real feeling of life on the edge!

6th Form Induction Days

Here at School Trips Wales we provide induction days for 6th form students and other induction events. Our team is widely experienced in team building and enabling students to get to know each other and develop confidence, team working and self-esteem. Our team development exercises will challenge and enhance team working. Studies have clearly shown that pupils that have taken part in an outdoor team building event prior to joining the sixth form are more confident and adjust to higher education where self lead study starts to take precedence. (See LOtC website for details). This is open to all levels of ability.
-
Gorge Walking & Canyoning
