Conwy is the main activity delivery centre for School Trips Wales in north Wales, and offers our full range of adventurous activities. However due to its location close to the sea, we do tend to specialise in water sport activities such as coasteering, gorge walking and river trips with our sit on top kayaks.

We work closely with the YHA throughout Wales to provide an extremely professional outdoor education experience. Outdoor activities at Conwy are largely mountain, lake and river based however we can offer our full range of activities from here, please see our sample programmes for your options. We offer 1 – 5 day activity programmes that are designed individually to meet your needs.
Conwy, is a modern 90 bed, four star hostel. It is situated in the walled medieval town of Conwy. It offers breath-taking views over the Conwy estuary in one direction and the mountains of the Snowdon National Park in the other. It is a modern hostel with a wide range of facilities including, games room, conference room, drying room, common room, outside spaces and a relaxing lounge, it is an ideal location for your school activity trip to Wales.

Conwy is our main operational activity centre for school trips in North Wales and a full range of activities is available here. However, due to its location close to the Snowdonia National Park, we do specialise in water sports such as: Sit on kayaking, Gorge walking, Climbing and abseiling, Bush craft, Orienteering and Sit On canoe lake and river trips.
Pre residential visits are available for you to take a look at the resources and the schools liaison officer will be available to discuss your activity programme.
Regarding accommodation and catering there is one free teacher place for every 10 pupils. Teachers do not pay for any activities. Activity programmes are designed individually to meet your pupils needs, the level of activity can be delivered to meet all skill levels and age group. Curriculum activities that we can cover from this location cover: Geology, Geography, History, Environmental studies and of course Physical education. For schools on longer or repeat visits National Governing Body awards are possible. Pre-visit site inspections are welcome so please call us to arrange one that suits you.
